Feeling awkward isn’t fun at all. But, when you feel awkward for the other person… it’s often times, even worse.

So, here’s a quick little post that goes out to salespeople, brands, and marketers using social media to sell their stuff…

Because when you try too hard to be someone you are not… its too awkward for the rest of us. Just be yourself, cut the schtick, cut the scripted pitch, cut the cut and paste tweets or Facebook posts and simply be…. YOURSELF!

It’s just not natural and it just goes into the STOP SPAMMING ME FILE!!

You can do it. I believe in you. And when you do, try again. Maybe next time, I will respond differently.

With social selling, being YOU means… being YOU!
