It’s amazing today how easy it is to capture a moment.

What’s even more amazing is how easy it is not only to capture a moment, but how quickly we can also broadcast that moment.

With no microphones or proper lighting in hand, a friend of mine recently dropped into a favorite cafe of mine where I was meeting with a couple of friends.

She was there with a student she was mentoring in hopes of me being able to shoot a quick interview with the student.

Part of the mentoring program is to pair students up with people who have experience in the field they are aiming to make a career out of.

It’s amazing how things work out sometimes. In this case, one of the guys I was meeting with, just happened to have gone to school for the same thing this student was getting ready to launch into.

So, with a few of my friends books, which he authored, a cardboard backdrop, and a macbook pro… we sat the two down for a brief interview which proves that it is not always about the fancy equipment and studio lighting. In the end, isn’t content where we place the highest expectation?

By the way, REAP Inc. is a great organization. To find out more about them, click here.
